there are no heavy breaths or smacking noises that sometimes cone with narration. her voice is smooth, she has a good grasp if character voices and is easy to listen to. the story itself had a good pace and was written in a way that didn't leave a bunch if loose ends or questions so it does stand alone despite being part if a series. be is angry and he has reasons for his bad behavior but the development of his character shows he is really good person. What really made me love Jane was despite her actions which are deplorable, she is not a bad person and that is made so clear in the development of her character. The desperation of Jane and Cal's anger over the deception. Cal and Jane are two of my favorites because I can understand the feelings and notifications of them both. This book was so funny I laughed so much through it. So funny,a great addition to SEP"s Stars series
